Beach Light final & Drity Beauty ads
24x32 oil on wood. Study is below ( scroll down) too 6x8 oil on linen. A beach subject is the commission I started 2 times. I had referance on the others and choked, I finally worked mostly out of my head and had fun. I hope the third is the charm.

"...while I'm In SLO for the panting contest..."
Oops. Don't you mean "the PAINTING contest"? :-)
Andy
BEAUTIFUL sunlight on the top painting!! Congrat!!
The third time is definitely the charm in this case. The client is gonna flip (if they haven't already). I guess you can just throw away all your reference stuff now, because the best stuff is in your head!
Yes, thanks for catching the typo Andy-- I often do these posts when I'm tired and have no focus to do my art-- So tons of typos...
Beautiful renderings, specially the first one.
I really love your work. I'm especially drawn to industrial sites but the light effects are really terrific. Great work.
Great work Will... I seem to recall a certain outdoor swapmeet moving picture screen.
wow! that light is friggin amazing! Where do I send a cheque to buy a book?I needs me one a those!
Hey Ted jsut drop me an E- mail and I'll give you the address.
Hey WK get back to work, I need some new art from you.
I want to eat your paintings.
I'd love to go painting with you. Have you considered doing workshops? How much to come to Florida and paint with a couple of people from my company?
thanks Fabian!
thanks Bill, I need to do aner industral one. Lord knows I have a ton of referance.
Hey Geo,
I'm not doing any workshops right now due to working at Nick-- but maybe next year... I have been known to make accommodations for collectors...
Hi William,
this is the artist inspection commission:
please stop painting instantly and go home
HAHAHA!

The Beach Light final looks great, so did the study. When you did this did you just work from the study and memory or photos too?
D. Weinand, I love you painting of whales and dolphins.
Hey David ,not to be flippant, but all of the above. including just out of my head.

And I'm not a dolphin and never painted whales.
Wow...you've been busy...congrats on the show and being in Southwest magazine. I love the sunlight on that painting.

Saw your ad in Southwest Art, it had prominent placement, right there by the subsription card so the magazine opens right to your page.
Nice painting, beautiful light!
I plan on getting a book at some point here. I just spent a bundle on school supplies, but I'm working on it. "Dirty Beauty" is a book Doug would have in his living room, right by his desk.
I can understand the whole trouble keeping up thing, I've been busy and have unfortunately been neglecting all my favorite painters lately.
The beach painting is absolutely stunning - the colours are great and it has such life to it! I really love your paintings - they have so much atmosphere!
Thanks everyone! Tony, BG, D. Sandy and Tim. Yes the Ad came out great and in a good place. It's so nice not being disappointed for once. ;-) The client got the Beach painting today and liked it so much he bought the study so it's all good. We even were on the same page with the frame.
The book is Dirty.. I mean a Beauty, William. Thanks so much!
I expect a nice autograph in Sept. though.
