LPAPA show Re- models and Shopping Cart
Here are two older Plien Air paintings I'll post just to be confusing. I recently almost totally re- painted them out of my head.
both are 6x8 you may remember them from the past.
I'm in with two paintings this year (not these above or below)
4th Annual "THE BEST OF PLEIN AIR" Show
June 5 – June 14, 2008 You can see them if Check the LPAPA link for info...
--------------------------------------------------->>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Oil on linen 12x16
Here is just a simple little one where I'm playing with color and pushing active design, to make a boring view interesting as per what I do. No story here, to be honest I forgot where this one was referenced.

you make it seem easy
Wow! Great blog.
You have inspired me to do some proper painting this weekend.
Fantastic! I wish I were brave enough to paint shopping carts and blimps, even when I see them like you do--wonderful little subjects that we might otherwise overlook but say so much!
Cool! I like where you're going with the new piece. Funny ...I was just reading an article about lost shopping carts and thought that would make an interesting painting. You beat me to the punch.

My favorite part is that little palm in the background. It's a nice free flowing piece.
Hey Bill ! Long time fan, first time poster. I have always admired your backrounds on Ren and Stimpy and Samurai Jack. I am also planning on attending the Arts Students League.
Gotta agree with Tony. I like that crazy palm tree the best!
Hitting any figure drawing/painting work shops lately?
Nice warm light.
I remember the Griffith Park one.. horse trail - umbrella shy 'ol paints. Excellent works all. Glad to see you're getting the deserved recognition and invitations to show. I'll be scouting my turf soon to have some locations ready for when you make a visit to the Second City.
Luis-- You too!
thanks Mark. Real paint not pixls? How could you?
wow, this is quite successful Bill. The lone shopping cart and the late sun hitting it is pretty dramatic...almost post apocalyptic.
"THE BEST OF PLEIN AIR"? You belong there, no doubt!!! Nice pieces!
Great paintings, love the top one. Beautiful greens and thick marks against that sky.
Cooper! thanks as usual.
Kathy, No subject is owned by and artist. go for it.
thanks Tony all my little palms are for you.
Keep working hard PC your on your way.
