At first glance this reminded me of a lady who starts her watercolor paintings off in a certain way. Her name is Sylvia Miller and she uses the crucifix form. Basically its an abstract arrangement of shapes and color laid on the paper without giving anythought on whats to go on top of it. Nice painting.

Love the glowing red buildings amongst the green skies. Seems it could be a winter urban scene here in chicago - I've seen many like this on the South side. Horizontal works quite well - memories of Papco(?), La Verne.
