That painting looks futuristic! It reminds me of Metropolis.

Wow, that's a great painting and yeah, I too get a "future"-feeling from it. ^_^

That building in the background has a strong animation feel to it (which I like). A heroic cityscape!

LOVE the redesign of the LAPAPA and Sedona ads! I got a chuckle from them. See you in Laguna!

No wonder nobody messes with us when we're out on photo-safari. You look a little scarey in those postcard images, like you just stepped out of a dimly lit biker-bar after busting somebody's chops!

I like the Art Biker Gang look - I think you pull it off well - but I'm not sure about the art direction of the banners/flyers.

A floating head doesn't seem to work. I'd like to see the neck and shoulders there on the first one.

For the other one... It looks like you're peering into the frame.

Both head shots look like after thoughts, placement wise. Also, a bit cartoony, which I know you're moving away from in these shows.

I love Antonio Lopez, but I think he got a more grey realist outlook no?

Love the colors and monumental feel of this one. It also has that eerie feeling you get in most big cities when there are not a lot of people/cars around. Early weekend morning NYC is great for that.

This is one gorgeous painting. I'm going to mark down these dates.

We almost went to Sedona a couple weeks back but didn't make it.

And I would love to see your work in person, at Laguna...

the "mood" of that painting is incredible.

The silver frame you asked about on my blog is from a company called Fine Arts located at 13 Autry, Irvine (www.forfinearts.com). They sell frames wholesale but you have to have a resale cert. They also have a huge selection of some awful Giclee' art at really cheap prices. It's good for a laugh.

That cityscape at the top is phenomenal, the kind of work that inspires.

I just keep coming back to this painting - SO dramatic... like angels are about to sing. That little red car dead center in the bottom is just odd enough to give it the "Classic Wray Slightly Uncomfortable Feel". I love it.

I used to live in Sedona; lovely area. Little known fact: it's located in Coconino County, the home of Krazy Kat in the old comic strip (spelled Kokonino there, of course). Looking at the red rocks, it's easy to see what inspired Krazy's rocky backgrounds. Sedona was also the site of some of the filming on Karate Kid, Midnight Run, and doubtless other films.

I hope you'll enjoy the festival, and bring back some lovely paintings!
