Boeing 727, Mojave at the Wendt Gallery

16x24 oil on wood

I'm pleased to announce that I'll be participating in the Wendt Galleries 2008 group Landscape show. This painting: Boeing 727, Mojave is one of the one's that will be in the show. I've posted some of my desert Jet paintings before, but I don't think this one has been shown yet.

I'm not on the promo card, but that's ok I'm the new guy. See the Wendt link---->>>

I saw your name on the list of participating artists in Art Collector. How exciting! Since it's close to my house I will definitely top by and see the show. Congrats!

The orange lift thing next to the plane you've rendered with just enough information for me to know exactly what it is (even though I don't know the name of the dohickie thingamagig). Do you decide ahead of time what color palette you are going to use for each painting or do you adjust as you go along?

Just love the loose quick impression of the jet painting. A great example of verve through brush movement.

I saw the article on you in American Art Collector, but I'd heard of you before (were/are you on Wet Canvas?). You have a lot of fans here in the East - you should have a show here! I wish I could get to CA to see your show. Good luck. Love your work.
