Pistol & ZIPGUN/ Small works show in Atlanta

I'm going to be in a small works show at Anne Irwin fine art starting Nov 19th . They will have these two still life's and the steak a few posts down. Give them props for trying out such provocative subject matter.

The minute I saw thumbnail of the gun I thought of the steak. Not the cake; the steak.

Bill, you just have that cool touch, not just in the subjects you choose but also the way you paint them. I love how murky these are, perfect for the subject. Wish I could go see the show.

I once saw a zip gun made out of a coaxial cable and paper-clip, and I thought of how mundane the instruments of death can be. Well, you've managed to make art out of it somehow. Very well done.

Very cool, what I would expect a Thompson novel to be illustrated
like.
Switching to Open's more now?
