Raw and wonderful. Nothing like an aggregate plant in Bakersfield to get those brushes movin! William, check out my good ole boy portrait I just posted. It has a little bit of the same feeling.

I love the way you put detail in the paintings but without being obvious

Beautiful!

You were missed at the Laguna Plein Air Invitational. I looked for you and when I picked up a flyer I saw that you weren't there. A couple of other people were asking about you too.

I hope you feel better soon!

That is one swell looking factory you got there. I've made a mental note of the colors in particular.

Cold rusty palette, strange and strong. Amazing piece.

This one places in the top 10 of my Wray favorites... Got a perfect storm of tasty eye goodies going on. The red monochrome makes this read like a Zane Grey western's western. Your ability to sniff out these lost treasures is only matched by your ability to paint them.

Fantastic piece . . . too bad this one isn't in your book that I don't have yet. :) Beautiful work as always!

The red in the sky makes this one sing.

I like the factory. I would like to paint like you paint, painterly. My subjects are tractors! Rusty and old, more interesting that way.
