Veterans Office/ Mom's art show
Recently a friend took me inside the old Veterans building in Los Angles that is going to be renovated.
My Mom has an show of her watercolors based on my Dad's old photo's coming up next week. Drop by and visit, I'll be there to say hi too. Mom went to school for art, but choose to raise a family, work and then take care of my Dad. She's starting her art career in her eighties, so it's never to late.

This is probably my favorite painting of yours Bill. I don't like to pick favorites, and many of your other paintings are cool, yet this one, I feel has touched

Your Moms looks, & sounds like an artist, you luck bugger!
Please pass my best wishes on to your mom. I'm just hitting my stride, too, in my early 70's. You're right that it's never too late.
Like the new one William, that light strip on the desk makes it. All the best, Steve

Hi William!
I havenĀ“t commented for some time, but looked at your paintings frequently.
In this painting your looseness of brushwork is so stunning.
