Glad to see the red shopping cart is still your vehicle of choice. Between trains.

This train piece is a new favorite, the color is so much richer in person.

So awesome how the cart is in shadow but you can feel the reflected light bouncing up and hitting it's side.

"Going" is a fabulous piece!

The sense of movement is great, I feel like I'm chasing that train.

The realism of temp in the cart painting locks in your keen observation, Wow again man!

I can't even remember how I found your blog but I'm so glad! I love your stuff. Could you tell a little bit about how you are designing your compositions?

colored underpainting? yes. If you look you can guess what element is still the underpainting. At this stage I have a pretty good sense of compositon so I don't think, I just do. Less is more, strong graphic image, varied shapes, all the basics.
