Night Pond
A nocturne of the settling ponds next to my house in Sierra Madre. It a series of artificial ponds used to refill the city's water supply. It's a sometimes pretty area when they aren't dumping garbage, organizing construction convoys of trucks and cutting all the vegetation into dirt. It's a no trespassing zone, but I vault the fence all the time. It's my belief that no area should be off limits to the artist.;-)

Ohhh man! What a beauty. You really nailed the atmosphere!! great looking piece...
...But, looks like I am gonna have to call the cops on you, they are going to have a warrant to seize this illegally made piece of art!
Awesome painting! Actually, I completely share your belief. I once managed to get to the roof of a building from the alleyway to get a good photo of the river. It's usually best to hit good scenes after hours, anyway.
That's a superb painting William, I also love the "waiting" one,
Happy new year!

I really like this one. Lovely ambiance. How big is it?
DIC: I like breaking trespass laws.
BG:
Something exhilarating about breaking the law in the name of capturing beauty. Sometimes I get a hard time, but when I show them my card and make friends, usually things work out. I don't like to ask permission because when they say no I get angry.
Thank you Stef, same to you.
AW thanks: 9x12 I meant to post size, but forgot.
